Bottle 50 cl. Pours a thick pitch black with a small dissipating head. Solid, hard roasted malts in the nose. Solid body, lots of hard roasted malt, sweet dark chocolate and a rich malt bitterness. A little low in carbonation. Yummy. 030110

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a pitch black with a small rough beige head. Thick, heavy tar-like aroma with some peat. Solid body, lots of burned malts, tar and licorice. A little low in carbonation. Some malt bitterness and a warming alcohol in the finish. Heavy duty stuff! 030110

Bottled. Deep amber colour, mediumsized beigeish foamy head. Aroma is fruits, some grass, mild notes of yeast and also caramel malts. Flavour is hops, some yeast, bready, but still rather sweet. Quite mild IPA-like. Pleasant.

Clear amber color, steady small creamy off-white. Sweaty hoppy aroma. Medium-bodied. Fruity, hoppy flavor. Some warming alcohol. Reasonably balanced IPA.

Sample at Halloween beer and jazzfestival, Ridehust Århus. Medium head with medium duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, wood, fruits and vanilla.

Bottle at home ... Once again Jan supplys something interesting. Ive no Idea what Knark is/means etc ... but i like the name ... SO Knark to one and alll ... Deep black ... short lived small tan head ... meaty vinious toffee woody nose ... odd fizz to it ... some whiskey ... its subtle at first but builds ... roast malts ... some toffee ..

Bottle. Frothy lightbrown fair mostly deminishing head. Black colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Loads of chocolate and vanilla. Heavy bitter flavor. Strong vanilla and chocolate notes. Long fantasic finish. Excellent creamy palate. Fantastic beer.

Draught at Københavns Øldage 2009, Valby. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty cheesy aroma with hints of chocolate and coffee. Roasted malty chocolate and coffee flavor with bitter hoppy hints also some cheesy hints. Has a roasted malty chocolate finish with some warming alcohol finish.

Bottle. Pours a reddish amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty light hoppy aroma. Fruity malty caramel flavor with some hoppy hints. Has a slightly sweetish fruity malty caramel finish with some hoppy hints in the aftertaste.

Bottle 50cl.Unclear medium yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, herbs, spicy, coriander. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, and a peppery finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090813]
