720 ml bottle from Furusato Nozei. Rich rice and fruit nose: melon, pear, light vanilla, apple. Icy, clear, and thick. Full body, rich rice, somewhat grainy, vanilla taffy, creamy, apples. Tasty Junmai, on the sweet side but finishes clean and relatively dry.

720ml bottle from Furusato Nozei. Clear, icy, slightly yellowish tint. Big, fruity, ginjo-ka nose, pear, apple, orange, light rice. Crisp and spicy, highly fruity and elegant, spicy koji. Smooth, silky, not too heavy. Rich stone fruit ripeness. A lovely surprise from Saga!

720ml bottle from Furusato Nozei. Rather strange nose or cabbage, rice, smoke, bread. Surprising and a bit unappealing. Sweet and fruity, though, nothing like the nose. Fruity, juicy, tropical fruit and citrus. Crisp and fresh nama flavor is lovely, unlike the nose. Maybe a bit too sweet though.

720ml bottle from Furusato Nozei. Nose is rice, stone fruit, spicy koji. Thick, oily, clear. Sweet and fruity, rich rice, great fruit. Quite lovely.
