Bottle. big stone fruit nose, tropical fruit, passion fruit, orange, pear, apple, huge nose, with a bit of rice, koji, ginjo-ka spiciness, floral. Sweet, fruity flavor, rice, vanilla, honey. very flavorful. Huge floral and stone fruit character. Very sweet, which is ok at first, but gets cloying as time goes on, particularly as it warms. Notes of rice pudding. Huge flavor, but a bit too sweet to drink a lot.

720 ml bottle from Yamamoto. Clean fruity nose, orange, lemon, lychee. Dry for sure. nicely fruity flavor, citrus, lychee, sweet orange. This is a nice karakuchi. It is still big on nose and flavor, very fruity and not all that thin, but it definitely is nicely dry. Prickly, spicy finish with a bit of alcohol burn. Very nice.
