Draught at EBF 2008, Copenhagen, Denmark. Clear dark brown color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, peat - smoke. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. 120908

From tap at Lord Nelson. Pours hazy deep orange with a fully gone head. Mild perfumed and spiced aroma. Sweet and fruity flavoured with a distinct annis seed flavour. Solid caramel malty. Acidic to citric fruity aroma and flavour. Light fruity finish with a mild annis seed note.

On tap @ EBF 2008. Almost black body with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, some caramel, liquorices and tar. Flavor is roasted malt, bitter coffee, dry fruit and tar. Complex and quite heavy.

Dark brown with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of licorice, figs and raisins. Flavour is sweet dried fruits, with a hint of tartness. Unpleasant oxidation and hop bitterness.
