(Bottle 100 cl) Beautiful, clear mahogany with a creamy, beige head. Lightly roasted malt aroma. Medium body, lightly coffeeish malt notes - but dry. Subdued bitterness. The finish is a bit thin. 151206

A deep red beer with a thick brown head. The aroma is sweet malty combined with notes of fruit, caramel, chocolate, coffee, and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel and chocolate, but also with light notes of spices and oranges, leading to a dry roasted end - with just a hint of a burnt note.

Hazy copper beer with a medium off-white head. Grapefruit and flowers in the aroma. Somewhat sweet flavour and quite thin. Perhaps my tastebuds have been conditioned for too long with too much bitterness, but it felt more like an American Pale Ale to me.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a hazy, amber golden with a yellowish head. Light aroma of citrus. Medium body with some malt, but otherwise completely dominated by bitter, grapefruitish notes. Appears to be simply a lighter version of the brewery’s IPA. 231106

Bottled. Unclear and hazy, golden beer with an off-white head. Hops, pine, stock and malt in the aroma. The flavor is bitter, with hops, pines, and some malt. Medium body and an almost stinging hop-bitterness in the finish. A bit on the hoppy side. (061013)

Hazy orange with a short lived head. Pretty sharp hop aroma, with some grass and sulfur. Same sharpness in the flavour along with some caramel sweetness. But it finishes with an unpleasant bitterness - and the sulfur again. My best comparison is my own first few homebrews (except they didn’t have the sulfur), which means lots of room for improvement.

(Bottle 50 cl) Very unclear, dark orangey golden with a tiny, off-white head. Fat aroma of crystal and caramel malt and some floral hops. Rather low in carbonation. Medium-bodied, lightly caramelish but otherwise completely dominated by fresh and very citrusy aroma hops gradually building up a solid dose of bitterness. Very British in style. Not at all a bad first try. 030806
