Draft. A hazy amber beer with a thin yellow head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and a light touch of hops. The flavor has notes of malt, grain, and flowers as well as light notes of caramel, leading to a nicely bitter finish. The body is a bit light.

Olbaren, pre-released bottle. Dark black color, short head. Aroma of black chocolat, coffee, roasted malt, some salami as well. Bitter and malty taste, coffee and chocolat, quite round and young though.

Sample at Copenhagen beerfestival. Medium head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are lots of honey and sweetness with some hops as well.

Bottled at Københavnske Øldage. Clear amber. Fruity, phenolic nose. Sweet and sticky with medium body. Note of sulphur and ash. All the things I want a Belgian ale not to be.

Bottled at Københavnske Øldage. Clear brownish amber. Fairly neutral aroma. Very dry with clean mouthfeel and fairly light body. Grainy and a bit harsh. Resiny finish. Substandard IPA.

Bottled at Københavnske Øldage. Clear deep ruby. Aroma of stable and black currant. Sweet and fruity. Medium bodied with notes of molasses. Some caramel, late resiny bitterness. Too simple malt character.

Draught at Københavnske Øldage. Near black. Cocoa aroma. Sweet and somewhat syrupy. Full bodied. Burnt malt together with odd tarry hops. With it’s near extreme sweetness it sticky and raw. Tarry, resiny finish. Unbalanced and too sweet.

Draught af copenhagen beerfestival. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Light malty and light hopy aroma. Really nice complex bitter flavor. Average bitter finish. Creamy palate.
