AMS is an Amsterdam-based, non-profit, strategic-buying alliance that currently works on behalf of 9 top food retailers. Since 1988, the alliance has been initiating, managing, and coordinating joint-buying activities for its shareholders and, later, for EURO SHOPPER™ distributor members as well.

By pooling and leveraging our retailers’ expertise and volume to source private label products on an international scale, AMS is able to deliver the best possible quality goods at competitive prices. This enables retailers to offer shoppers greater value for money, which improves their bottom line and gives them a clear competitive edge in today’s fast-moving retail market.

AMS’ buying service includes private labels in food, near-food, and non-food. We also offer shareholders and members the shelf-ready, AMS-developed EURO SHOPPER™ discount brand – the pan-European budget range, which is currently sold in more than 6 different countries.

Guessing this is the same as I had at the HOA festival 2009, 50 cl can from a friend. Label was quite different though.Clear pale yellow color, whit ehead. Malty sweey scent and taste. Medium to a bit thin mouthfeel, low bitterness. Works at a festival, but not much more.

Average looking pilsener. Has a fruity sweet aroma. Quite a watery flavour with a mouth and throat drying aftertaste. There are worse pilseners that this though.

Bottle. 5%. (as Euroshopper Bier Premium Lager, brewed for Wertha Brouwerij, Breda). Aroma seems to have some hoppiness. Golden colour, stable white head. Flavour is grainy and bready with low bitterness. Leaves a rubbery feeling on my palate.

A clear orange beer with a very thin white head. The aroma is sweet spicy and malty, while the flavor is primarily malty, and with a thin body.

Good just off-white head, fast gone, leaving scummy rings; very carbonated, slightly orangey golden beer. Chaffy, grainy nose, but with some rotten undercurrent. Dirty off-taste, metallic, vaguely malty, and again something rotting. What did they use for prime ingredients? Sharpish palate, thin mouthfeel. A rotten pilsner, truly.

Clear yellowish color, very short head. Watery pilsener, bit bitter and skunky. My friends at Groezrock brought this stuff with them, i would never buy this!
