(Bottle 50 cl) pours a hazy golden with a dense white head leaving a light lacework. Soft yeasty aroma with citrus accents. Medium-bodied with a soft mouthfeel, lightly sweet banana accents combined with lightly tart citrus and yeast. No bitterness. 041008

Bottled. Lightly hazy golden, rich h ead. Grassy nose. Dry with medium body. Lots of grassy hops over buttery maltiness. Long balaned bitterness. Pleasant, even if notes of paper distracts somewhat.

Bottle from the "Walnut Creek" BevMo. Bright copper color with a white ring for head. Fresh caramel aroma with a hint of bitter. Near medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is light sweet malt with a little bitter for balance. A bit buttery; a bit grassy. Clean and refreshing. Whether it matches the style? It drinks very well, and I am finding it a break after a 10% barleywine. This is actually a very good lager. And I think it fits the style.

Bottle. Grass and butterscotch aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Grass and butterscotch flavor. Very different - the most diacetyl flavor of any German beer I’ve ever had.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass is astonishing dark. Aroma and flavor modest sourish. Not really drinkable. An average beer.

bottle. Clear golden yellow. Medium-bodied slightly hoppy and pleasantly malty and fruity beer. Somehow reminds me of a Bohemian Pilsener from a small brewery. Franconian Helles with a Bohemian touch - a good and welcome combination.
