Bottled. Deep golden, firm head. Orangey hop aroma. Sweet and fairly light bodied but with dense malt character. Medium bitterness. A pleasant ale dominated by orangey hops, and far better than you’d expect from a beer where the label says "sunshine in a bottle".

Bottle from sainsbury. Golden brown colour, floral hops with citric notes. lots of lemon in the flavour but it makes it taste like lemonade. not enough malt to give it any structure or body. shame cos i love Lord’s. Just a wonderful place and this beer is not fit to share its name

(Bottle 50 cl) Very pretty amber colour, clear with a thick, off-white head lacing my glass. Lovely, floral hoppy nose. And the aroma hops really dominate this beer throughout - fat and extremely aromatic and full hop flavour, but not really that bitter. Part of the revenue from this beer goes to the Royal Botanic Gardens (Kew Gardens) work with endangered plants. 130705

(Bottle 50 cl) I believe Elysium was the drink of the Gods in both Greek and Roman mythology. Well, this lacks a bit to achieve just that... Amber in colour with a very fine head. The elderflower is mainly present in the palate, but this beer seems oddly inharmonious in some strange way. Go for the Badgers Golden Champion if you like elderflower. 010104

Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Clear golden, minimal head. Vague citric hop aroma with a hint of butterscotch. Sweet with bolde, fizzy malt character and light to medium bosy. Low bitterness. The hop character is authentic, if a bit subdued, but it seems way beyond Young’s capabilities to produce the malt character of a really good pilsener.

[Cask at GBBF 2004] A hazy orange beer with a small disappearing white head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of oranges, while the flavor is of flowers especially elderberryflowers and with a dry hoppy end.

Bottled. Dark copper coloured, huge foamy longlasting beige head, lacing. A bit skunky nose with hints of roast and honey. Smooth flavour which is a bit fruitish at first but then turns pretty skunky. Dry finish and bitter aftertaste.

A clear orange beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma is very hoppy, like sticking your head into a hop plant in late August. The flavor is spicy with notes of caramel and hops, leading to a dry hoppy end.

Bottle: Dark copper colour. Small off white head. Lots of carbonation. Malty aroma with some fruity hints and also some caramel. Has some caramel taste also some hints of fruit and malt. Has a light bitter aftertaste. Not one of the best christmas beers i have had.

Bottled. Bright golden, Aroma of peach and passion fruit. Juicy peaches atop sweet dense malt, balanced by some grassy hops. This is a fruit beer that works, at least to some extent.
