Big Top Beverage Mart, Roslyn case ($20ish): Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is light, mediocre German hops, bready maltiness, some grain. Taste is much the same. Slightly hoppy. Not remotely close to the level of maltiness you get in American marzens. Not bad.

Hell würziger Antrunk, dem man den Alkoholentzug zwar anmerkt, die besonders unangenehmen Aromen fehlen aber. Dennoch kommt kein wirkliches Bieraroma auf, wenig herb, Cornflakes, metallisch-bitter. 11/7/7/5/6/6

Bottle from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours somewhat orange gold with a transient white head. Aroma is bready and herby/spicy. Med body. Flavor is bready with a fair amount of grass/herb/spice. Actually a fairly decent pils.

Pours dark gold with a short, off-white head. Scent is grain and green bottle. Very bready at first, sweet and grainy. Fairly bland, though it’s probably quite good fresh from the source. The commercial description translation is priceless.
