Herb-malziger Antrunk, leichte Röstigkeit. In Mittelteil etwas süß, was aber schnell wieder verschwindet. Spritzig, erstaunlich wenig nach einem Schwarzbier. Clear gold, soapy head - aroma is vile - smells strongly of sulfur (rotten eggs), harsh minerals and rotting garbage, with some sweet pils malt underneath - taste is less offensive, but does taste strongly of sulfur and minerals (but not in a good way) - a little bit of grassy noble hop flavor in th finish - a moderate sweetness - pretty offensive, really.

Can. Clear golden with a quickly-diminishing medium white head. Aroma has some graininess (a hint of corn) and some herbal hops. Slightly sweetish grainy-bready malt flavor with a drier finish, somewhat bitter, with a bit of noble hops. Light to medium-bodied. Pretty clean. Quite refreshing on a hot day.

Can, a touch dense small stable head with a bit of lacing, spicey biscuity aroma with herbal hints, flavour of honey with a medium strong herbal bitterness. Good straight forward pilsener.

Bottle from Half Time as Wolters Fest-Bier. Pours a light golden-amber with a slight creamy/bubbly white head. It has an excellent spicy/grassy nose. Must be the hop extract! Near med body. Flavor is rather light caramel with a lot of noble hop bitter. It’s light compared to darker beers, but it’s really good. Except for a bit too much sugar I’d put it up against better pilsners. Based on hop intensity. Green bottle but no skunk.

Bottle @ home. Clear, dark golden appearance with a white head. Toasty, caramel malty lager, mildly nutty aroma. Somewhat bitter, grassy, straw, hay, toasty caramel malty flavor. Not all that good.

Green 11.2 oz bottle, purchased @ Julio’s Liquors for $1.55 with Wild Six discount. Almost clear yellow, light carbonation. Very thin white head. No lace. Light skunky nose. Taste is light Euro hops, mild malt and skunk. Thin watery body. Tastes like a watered down Heineken, I wouldn’t ever drink this again.
