(On tap) A special brew made for the restaurant of the same name in Goslar. Hazy, pale golden with a nice, white head. Weak citrusy freshness in the aroma. Medium body, lightly sweetish malty with a whiff of butter. Almost no bitterness. 061106

Draught at Restaurant Kaiser Klee Rocky, white, fastly diminishing (bot not totally diminishing) head. Murky, yellow body. Very interesting and refreshing aroma of honey, flowers and hints of citrus. Lightly sweet, lightly bitter initial flavour. Lightly sweet, moderately bitter finish. Lightly bodied. Soft carbonation. Very nice beer, with some nice ’natural’ flavours of flowers, honey, ...

Draught in Goslar Off-white, creamy head with an excellent lace. The head diminishis mostly. Murky, bronze coloured. Looks -like the other beers of this brewery- very lovely. Nose of citrus (grapefruit, orange) and somewhat hidden also tremendously good aromas of sweat, horse blanket, barnyard (like the best gueuzes - but here in a weaker form). And the combination of these make that this beer has a lovely aroma. Lightly sweet, lightly bitter initial flavour. Moderately bitter finish. Lighjtly bodied with a soft carbonation. The flavour is disappointing after the nice flavour and looks. So like the helles, this one is not so bad, drinks smoothly, but nothing special to really look for.

Draught in Goslar Nice, white fizzy head. Very beautiful, golden murky body. This beers cries to be drunk. Nose of hops (citrus, orange, lemon). Lightly sweet, moderately bitter initial flavour. Moderately bitter finish. The flqvour is slightly salty. It drinks very easily, though not very tremendously good or bad. This Gose seem to lack some acidity.

Bottle (donated by MoritzF): Cloudy, yellow coloured, long lasting white foamy layer; wheaty, grainy, yeasty nose; sweetis (grainy) flavour, creamy MF; a little spoonful of coriander in the fruity, slightly bitter aftertaste; not unpleasant, but quite flat...............

(bottle) Cloudy yellow colour with a beautiful and quite lasting foamy white head. Slightly sour and minimal sweet but very grainy, slightly wheaty and yeasty aroma. Light-sweet cereal-like yeasty taste; moderately dry, yeasty and bitter finish with a tinge of coriander and salt. A tad too bitter in the finish for the style. I also miss more sourness. Drinkable for sure but also a bit disappointing and closer to a German Weizen than a Gose. The lable on the bottle says “brewed in Braunschweig” – WTF !?
