Bottle. Amber-copper color with a good white head. Aroma of caramel and some citrus hops. Well balanced beer with decent malt and some citrus and spice from the hops. Not bad for an amber beer, but nothing truly special. --- Beer merged from original tick of Red Tail Lager on 18 Oct 2008 at 19:31 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 5.5. Original review text: Bottle. Amber beer with a whitish head. Bready aroma with a bit of grass. Buttery flavor with some spice and grass backed by a bit of malt and lemony citrus. Medium. Grass and butter linger with the malt.

Reddish copper in color, small head. Ordinary amerish aroma- kinda sweet, but not really appealing. Taste is pretty much the same- thin, plain, ordianry, and not very drinker-friendly.

Color of a lager. Head leaves a think lace. Aroma of hops and acid. Flavor is acidic, with hops and barely noticeable fruit. Has a stomach acid quality I find in many PAs. Ok, but I like Summit better.

Basically a light ipa. Slight aroma of hops. Taste is mildy bitter with hops and flowers. Not bad, nothing to get excited about. A good effort; worth trying. Next time I will drink it colder than room temp.

Bottle. There’s more malt than hops in the flavor, but it’s easy to drink and has a clean finish. Not a lot going on, light body. Hops really don’t get to you until the finish where there’s a nice balance.

Pours a cloudy yellow with a big fluffy white head. Looking at the beer I was ready to hate it but i was plesantly suprized. The flavor is a nice hoppy grapefruit. Small bitterness on the end and kind of thick as it goes down. Nothing overwhelming but a decent IPA.

Bottled. Cloudy amber. Intense aroma of grapefruit, yeast and grass. Sweet and malt with dense mouthfeel. Full bodied with notes of banana. Really hoppy with bitter, mutky finish. East End Brewery, where I had this beer is a fantastic establishment. Not only that their house beer are ales from the local micro, but thay also import a good range of microbrews, mainly from USA and UK.

This is a nice golden colored IPA that carries a creamy white head that laces the glass and can hang around awhile too. The aroma is of lightly toasted caramel, citrus and is clean and refreshing. The flavor comes off as bitter with some malt sweetness underneath. Good dry finish. Very drinkable IPA.

Bottle. A slightly hazy amber color, with a nice hop aroma - if somewhat subdued for an IPA. Big pure white head that disapates quickly. The flavor is pine tar and citrus with a little malt to back it up. There's a little grassiness to the flavor, but otherwise it's not bad. Finishes dry, easy to drink.
