Luke side pour from brewery. Number one with a bullet. . Dark brown color. Beige cap. Roasty mal aroma has earthy notes. Flavor is dark malt, cocoa and crusty pumpernickel bread. Rich and flavorful. Medium bodied. Brief dry finish. Nicely done.

Draft at brewery. Number one with a bullet. Murky yellow gold pot. No head. Aromas of dank citrus and rotting fruit. First sip is bittersweet orange juice and grapefruit pith. Next is sticky pine and crushed kiwi fruit. Big, bold and preposterous. Tons of dank, bitter hops and resiny overload. Oofah!

Draft at brewery. Number one with a scythe! Dark cola brown pour. Scant beige head leads to a clingy ring. Toasted malt aroma hints at earthy, rustic bread. Flavor is more toasted, nutty malt and buttery, spicy hops. There is an underlying bitter component from top to bottom. A bit dark for the style, but the flavor is certainly emblematic of it. Overall, a decent brew.
