From a 375ml can on 30/4/2026. Pours a clearish deep golden with the barest of heads. Has a very light fruity nose. The taste is pretty line and length for a pale ale - some orange and grassy notes, leading into a modest bitterness. Light to medium body with average carbonation. Okay but actually much preferred the High Country Lager.

From a 375ml can on 17/4/2026. Pours a clear deep golden with a medium head that disappears quickly. The nose is quite malty, which presents on the sip too, finishing with a crisp bitterness. Has a bit of German character to it, and is a big step up from the macros stuff. I don't normally drink lagers but met the brewer, who seems like a great bloke, at a beer festival here in Canberra, and wanted he me to give it a crack, and it's definitely quality beer for the style.
