Description
Folkingebrew was founded with the aim of brewing beer that we like to drink ourselves. That is why we make beers with a distinct character in taste, aroma and color.

Because of our passion for good beer, we try to get a little better with every beer and push our boundaries.

Folkinge, the first part of our name, refers to the location where we started brewing: in the 'backyard' of a beer shop on the Folkingestraat in Groningen. Brew refers to the American craft beer culture, where we get our inspiration.

Between 2018-2025 client brewer, became a brewery in 2025 but the large batches, which are canned, are still brewed at Baxbier.

Blik gedeeld met SandervdL en LiekevdV. Het is een troebel geel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een hoppige En fruitige geur. De smaak is vol fruitig, zacht zoet, perzik, abrikoos, citrus en hop met en zacht bittere afdronk.

Tap at Bootleggers, Copenhagen 15/12/2023 Bright vibrant fruity aroma and taste dealing out layers of tropical and citrus fruity goodness, love eclipse hoped beers and this really shines here, sweet creamy malty support, citrus peel and hop spice converge into the assertive hoppy finish.

From can after yule tide beer tasting at MB2 09.12 23. Cloudy and yellow straw colour. Diminishing white head. Aroma and taste of lychee, grapefruit, and perhaps some citrus.

Can. Hazy yellow golden. Massive dank hops, fruity, smoke, oats, alcohol. Medium sweet, light bitter and sour. Weird.

Can at home shared with Laura. Hazy yellow color, full sized white head. Aroma is fantastic hoppy grassy hoppy. A little one dimensional maybe but still quite nice. Flavor is lightly malts, fresh hoppy, lightly piney I'd say, with a soft grapefruit hint AMD moderate to decently bitter. Quite nice.

Iets in mij zegt dat ik zo’n fruitig mergelgrot watertje al eens eerder van Folkinge heb geproefd, of anders lijkt het er verdacht veel op, desondanks prima te drinken.

From keg @Ihme, Helsinki. Poured unclear and golden in color. Slightly grassy, dry, but bit old hoppy aroma feel. Citrusy hops, grapefruity bite in finish.
