Description
Folkingebrew was founded with the aim of brewing beer that we like to drink ourselves. That is why we make beers with a distinct character in taste, aroma and color.

Because of our passion for good beer, we try to get a little better with every beer and push our boundaries.

Folkinge, the first part of our name, refers to the location where we started brewing: in the 'backyard' of a beer shop on the Folkingestraat in Groningen. Brew refers to the American craft beer culture, where we get our inspiration.

Between 2018-2025 client brewer, became a brewery in 2025 but the large batches, which are canned, are still brewed at Baxbier.

Tap. Opaque yellow color with white head. Aroma is green exotic fruits, pineapple. Taste is minerals, dank, green fruits, some grassiness. Mineraly mouthfeel. Alright.

Tap. Hazy yellow color with white head. Aroma is solid dank and passion fruit juice. Taste is exotic fruit juice, dank, biscuity, warming finish. Juicy mouthfeel, fine-bubbled but tickling carbonation. Solid!

Tap. Black color with off-white head. Aroma is chocolate, vanilla, sweet, not much roast. Taste is vanilla, chocolate sauce, thicc and intense, boozy warming finish. Soft carbonation and mouthfeel. Solid, but one to share.

Tap. Smoothie appearance, deep glowing orange. Aroma is guava, mango. Taste is guava and mango, apricot not so much, tart-ish finish. Thiccc juice nectar mouthfeel. Intense, but tasty. Barely a drink.

Tap. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is a bit vegetal, grassy, cereal. Taste is big cereal, grassy, bitter hop punch. Chewy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not quite for me.
