Bottle 330ml. @ home on the terrace. [ As Donovalsky pivovar Hajlander 14% ].[ Courtesy of my Local Swap 2016-2 Cuso ]. Clear dark black brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roastedm burnt, dark malt, ash, dark roasted, sod, light to moderate hoppy, wood, light pine. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, burnt, ash, roasted, fruityhops, sweet malt, sod. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160615]

Bottle from the brewpub. Pours cloudy coffee brown with airy light tan head. Clear aroma of caramel, roast and malt, with notes of coffee and some fruity hints. Bitter, roasty flavour with notes of coffee and malt and touches of lactose. Bitterish and roasty aftertaste. Nice.

Bottle, 5.5% Distinct raw liquorice aroma, slightly vinous. Black colour. Small light brown head. The flavour has a lot of coffee, some ashes. Citric and fruity finish. Late coffee grounds aftertaste. Dry finish, some roast barley bitterness. Not a black IPA in my book, but a good coffee stout.

Bottle, 6.0%. Cat urine hop aroma with a little pine. Cloudy grey amber colour. Big stable creamy white head. The flavour is quite malty with a teaish hoppiness and a decent bready finish. Teaish hop aftertaste. Good body, and a quite flavourful beer, so it makes sense to drink it in winter.

Bottle from the brewpub. Pours hazy pale straw with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of yeast, with notes of citrus and hops. Bitter, hoppy flavour with notes of malt and yeast and grassy touches. Lingering, bitter and estery aftertaste. Quite nice.

Bottle, 5.0%. Very caramelly aroma, bordering on buttery, with a caramelly and piney hop note. Clear dark amber colour. Big stable creamy off-white head. The flavour is very caramelly and nicely hoppy. Sweetish and teaish, not buttery, by the way. Clean and quite good.

Bottle from the brewpub. Pours nearly clear full amber with stable off-white head. Clear afoma of malt and fart, with notes of caramel and yeast. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt, with bready notes and bitter touches of hops. Hints of fruit. Estery and acidic aftertaste. Not very impressive.

Bottle from the brewpub. Pours hazy pale straw with small white head. Clear aroma of malt and fruit, with notes of yeast. Sweetish flavour of banana and malt, wit estery touches and bitter notes of hops. Bitterish and estery afteraste. A little watery but not bad.

Bottle, 4.2%. Rough bitterness in the aroma, a little clove and paper. Hazy pale yellow colour. Big stable white head. The flavour has clove and a little banana. Some citrus peel and paper in the finish. Like a mix between German and Belgian wheat beer. Unclean finish, but drinkable.
