Nice coffee-filled aroma with truffles, chocolate and mild ashy tones. Also hay. Flavour has licorice, ash, truffles and chocolate. Mild herbal tones in the finish. Perhaps a bit too dry.

33cl bottle from SIP veini- ja õllepood, Tallinn. Pours deep amber with some haze and sediments and a fairly decent, off-white head. Ginger is dominating the aroma, but notes of citrus, malt, caramel and herbs is also present. Medium sweet with nice ginger flavour and a light bitterness. Tasty and quite flavourful, but still easy to drink. Would think it could go well with (South-East) Asian food. Nice one!

(Bottle, 0.33 l - batch 001 - BB 05.11.2015, from Koht Shop, 20151113) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was quite large, white snd it lasted fairly long. Aroma had fruitiness, spiciness and yeast. Palate was medium bodied with quite high carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, ginger, spiciness, Belgian style yeast and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy and bitter. A different but pleasant saison.

33cl bottle from Sip, Tallinn. Pours black with a beige head. Roasty aroma with chocolate, hints coffee and wood. Moderate sweet with nice, roasty flavours and a balanced bitterness. Easy to drink, and quite tasty.

Draught @ Hopner. Aroma has strong cleaning liquid tones with lemon. Also biscuity malt. Flavour has ginger, citrus and biscuity malt. Foamy palate, high on CO2. Not bad but not exactly my thing. Gotta love the burning ginger here though - it could be more aggressive still.

Bottle, batch 003 (from Koht, Tallinn). Pours dark amber with light beige head. The head stays for some time. Aroma is sweet, candy, some ginger, some fruits. Flavor is sweet, caramel, malt, fruits, ginger. Finish is sweet and dry bitter with ginger. It takes some time to ginger to kick in, but it is really there once it does. Overall: ok.

33cl bottle @ jookos. Thx. Near black in color with a thin brown head. Chocolate, roasted malt, licorice, spicy notes. Flavor has chocolate, coffee notes, ashy notes and roasted malt. Long dry finish. Tasty.

0,33L bottle (from Tallinna Kaubamaja). Pours dark brown-black with beige head. The head stays for a moment. Aroma is vanilla, roast, dark chocolate, coffee, malt. Flavor is sweet and bitter, roast, vanilla, coffee, ash. Finish is dry bitter. Body is somewhat watery. Overall: ok brew.

Bottle at Tops, Tallinn. Pours hazy amber, nice foam that stays quite long. Aroma is very much saison-like, has some sweetish herbal character to it, feels hoppy. Taste is also spicy, herbal and a bit sweetish - although drying your mouth at the end. Not bad at all, some roughness and unpolished touch to it but I guess that is part of the charm. Goes well with the rainy weather.

0,33L bottle, batch 1 (from Uba ja Humal, Tallinn). Pours golden with off-white head. The head stays. Aroma is fruity, citrus, mango, and sweetness. Flavor is sweet, bitter and sour, fruits, citrus, bitter orange, mango, and some spices. Finish is grapefruit bitter. Overall: nice enough.
