(Draught at Parkvillan, Åre, Sweden, 6 Sep 2022) Dark brown colour, almost black, with hints of ruby. Creamy beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of black rye bread, caramel, liquorice and a touch of smoke. Malty, roasted taste with black rye bread, chocolate, liquorice, caramel and a mild roasty bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well made schwarzbier. Nice one.

ABV: 7.7%. Hazy matt - grey'ish medium amber yellow colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white - silver head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel - sweet malt, wheat, moderate hoppy, fruity hops, minerals. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, hops bitter, fruity hops, minerals, dried fruit - marmalade hops, caramel - sweet malt. Keg at Artut, Östersund. A very good IPA that delivered bag loads of hops and passionfruit. Strength was nicely balanced. (7/12/22) ----- Bottle at Skoogs, Funäsdalen. Brilliant yet a little off balanced at the same time with deep bitterness (Sigtuns vibes) and tropical sweetness. Too much sediment this time. 3.9 to 3.6.
