Last pour at the source. Advertised as 10.5%, feels like 12%.
Dark russet, rich maple barleywine color, mostly still.
Incredibly strong, tea tannins, woody sweet, more like an old ale, aged hops, soft grain sweetness.
Very smooth but not at all what I want.

This won't be good but I'm running the menu.
Pale pour at the source, slight protein haze.
Nondescript nose, maybe some unsweetened cereal.
Taste is monotone blonde beer but with a noticeable fermented honey starchiness, gently textured.
So drab.

Smaller pour, buying time till ew move on. Owner is chatty.
Opaque, dark brown float over a golden amber pour. Tis a bit strange to get the color cascade, since it was all the same tap.
Menthol forward. Clovey esters. Sweet maple with a little black tea. They love this style down here. My bartender says this is the freshest beer, came in 15 days ago, that says something. Mild earthy bite, lingering clove, kinda thin, mellow acid elevates, some cream & tannins on the tail.
It's whatever.

Sticky, pale gold pour at the source, near the obelisk, Buenos Aires. Wife is trying to get us to go.
Steel, dry grain, menthol premium lager.
Clean, light citrus, creamy with a stronger than expected noble hop bite. Slight premium feel but with more earthy bitterness. Lovely irritating carb, medium high acid, some Euro malt stickiness but that bite at the finish is refreshing.
Good+.

Keeping it going. Wife broke out the Kindle.
Dark, russet, filtered.
Mild nose of banana & clove with a slight herbal bite.
Estery, mild anise, lightly noticable twang, white pepper, orange chocolate, toasty finish, quick sizzle of bitterness. Drinks like a Dubbel.
Something is wrong with it but... Okay.

Pint glass, 210c pour at the source in BA.
Raspberry amber pour, delicately pink suds.
Neutral nose with just a wink of sweet cereal grain, no fruit.
Taste is a clean blonde ale with a touch of neutral raspberry, minus any colorful tartness or nuance. Dainty & fruity nuance with a blonde cerveza background. Some gentle acid in the far background, some diactyl, but very boring.

We're the only ones here.
Mellow dark black pour with a sturdy cap of tan head.
Smells like choco milk, margarine & a bag full of nickels. Not great.
Creamy, light coffee, buttery, almond extract (?), extra brown sugar, tastes old.
Frothy, low abv, too sweet, milky palate.
Bad.

At the source with my wife after some walking around.
Pale gold, spirited, good froth.
Lemon & dry cereal grain nose.
Clean, crispy, zesty lemon & tiny bit of tropical. Bright orange-lemon acidity, thin body, just about dry. Surprisingly clean.
