Bottle at home. Clear golden color,virtually no head. Aroma and flavor are lightly malts, quite grainy, grainy bitter, a bit dusty. Average body and carbonation. Mwah.

Clear and golden with a frothy/bubbly white head and a subtle grassy aroma. Light and fizzy, grassy with some subtle lemony sweetness and soft hoppy bitterness in the finish.

Bottle, golden clear with white cap. Nose is macro, chemical. Mouth is decent, frizzy carbo, slightly bitter.

Keg at Big Hands, Manchester. Pours pale gold with a small head. Aroma is crisp, grassy straw. Taste is crisp with straw.

Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Pours a clear light golden colour with a large throthy white head. Aromas of cereals, bread and lemon. Taste is more of the same with a crisp light grassy finish. Thinnish body, average carbonation and slightly oily mouthfeel. Refreshing thirst quencher. Good but not great.

On tap at Craft Beer Oasis, Crewe. Pours a lemon yellow with a small white head and good lacing. The nose has grains and malt – plus hints of boiled vegetables (!). In the mouth it has a juicy texture with low carbonation. Flavour starts off as simply bread rolls, but later on there are some herbs and spices to be found. This is what lager should taste like !
