On tap at Folkklubs, Riga. Pours golden copper with a well retained head. Lemon, peach and lemongrass in the mouth. Softly carbonated with a dry and hoppy finish. Pretty inoffensive really.

Bottle (5.2% version, rating here like previous raters). Pours amber. Aroma is sweet, some hops, buttery, grainy. Flavor follows the nose. Overall: drinkable, but typical Latvian lager, nothing to see here.

On tap at Folkklubs Ala Pagrabs, pours a clear copper with a small beige head. Aroma brings out cereal malts, toasted grains and light sweetness. Flavour is lightly sweet, with cereal grains, straw and lightly sweet bready malt. Nothing special here, but clean and drinkable. Solidly made.

(Keg at Beer House No 1, 20170105) The beer poured deep amber and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had butter, caramel and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, butter, malts, caramel and bitterness. Aftertaste had butter, sweetness and bitterness. A yet another messy brew.

Tap at Petergailis, Riga. Pours hazy, pale golden with white head. Aroma of grass, hay, bread and slight caramel/butterscotch. Similar taste with a sweetish, bready note dominating with some hay, grass and caramel playing second fiddle.

Golden color with a white head, medium duration. Aroma has notes of honey, bready hints and buttery. Flavor is slightly sweet, herbal notes and some spices. The final is slightly bitterness with some dry mouthfeel on palate.
