About
Bock’s Corner Brewery is a small independent brewery situated in the heart of a once booming brewing district. After nearly thirty years of silence, we brewed the first batch in February 2015 in a refurbished ice cellar that has now become our home.
Our beers are produced in small quantities and we personally check that every batch is up to the high standard we have set for ourselves- only the best is good enough!
We have also opened Bock’s pub in connection to the brewery where people are welcome to socialize and enjoy a tasty meal while watching the brewmaster at work.

Tap at Bock’s. Opaque color, small beige head. Medium-bodied to full-bodied. Aroma is malty, rye bread, hints of caramel and even some licorice. Bready, malty, a bit sweetish doppelbock. Some German hoppyness in the finish. Robust clean doppelbock.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ (PBF XI) by oh6gdx - Petalax ]. [ As Bock’s Talviolut ].Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, caramel, brown sugar, sour malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sour malt, brown sugar, caramel, caramelized malt - brown sugar. Clear golden color, small white head and some lace. Grainy and quite vegetably aroma. Light-bodied. Flavor has grainy maltyness, light sweetness and lots of vegetables too. Kind of off the beat.

Bottled@AIH66 Beer Session (from Bock’s). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grains, grass, herbs and some vegetables. Flavour is grainy, vegetably and some herbal and grassy notes. I also has this unfiltered from the fermentation tank, imho that version was much better...

Bottle 500ml. @ [ (PBF XI) by oh6gdx - Petalax ]. [ As Bock’s Weißbier ].ABV: 4.7%. Unclear matt medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, pale malt, moderate yeasty, weizen yeast, banana, clove notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, sweet malt, sweet yeast, banana, fruity, weizen yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160708] 6-3-6-3-12

A hazy, a head is white and quite small. Aroma has vegetables, maltyness and some overriped fruitness. Taste has maltyness, some grass, also vegetables but not so much as in the aroma. Medium bodied. Too much of vegetables, not good.

A bottle. A murky and brown beer, a head is almost medium and blond. Aroma has vegetables, fruits, bananas. Taste has maltyness, some rye bread, weird and harsh bitterness. Medium bodied, slippery to drink that is the best part of this beer. A bad and unpure beer.

Draught@SOPP Helsinki 2016. Black colour, mediumsized brown head. When very cold: wooden, some liquorice and alcohol notes. 5 4 6 3 11. When warmer: Nicely liquorice/alcohol notes with mild toasted notes as well as some ripe fruits and also mild wooden and sweet malty notes. 7 4 7 3 14.
