Tap at RJ multiple times. Age seems to have improved this beer. Almost clear orange colour. Moderately stable head. Nicely showcasing Sorachi Ace, well made single hop ale. Solid malty base balances equap parts the hops flavours, coconut, citrusy. Moderate body, moderate carbonation.

Tap at brewpub. Light hazy orange golden color with huge white head. Nice citrus hoppy aroma with oranges, zest, caramel malt in aroma. Nice hoppy taste with oranges, zest, coconut. Solid caramel malty back bone. Little bit more fruity than hoppy bittter, I would wish, but overall enjoyable beer.

Tap at the brewery. Hazy deep golden colour, quickly disappearing head. Moderate hoppy fruity aroma. Assertively hoppy, high bitterness. Easy drinking. Quite good, the aromatics could be higher though.

Tap at RJ. Very dark colour, thick brown head. Intensely roasty with high bitterness and full body. Seems much heavier than it actually is. Very rich full roasty character with coffee and dark chocolate elements and no astringency. Hops character appears only in aroma and then towards the finish. Grassy resiny notes. Easy drinking. Very good.

Tap at the brewery. Too cold from the tap, needs to warm up a bit. Aroma is quite neutral. In taste there is initially unpleasant rough bakers yeast. Dough. Spicy notes begin to come through as it warms - clove in particular. In the end it is not bad. Just needs to warm up. Do not expect a heavy metal beer though. 5 4 6 3 13. Rerate. Rounded out very nicely near the end. Clear brown colour and clean spicy character with clove and coriander coming through for me. Balanced. Yeastiness went away. Easy drinking considering the ABV. Very good.
