Can. A murky red beer with a small off-white head. Sourish fruity and berryish aroma with a malty sweetish hint. Some booziness. It’s medium bodied and softly carbonated, lightly warming. The flavor has the same sourish fruity and berry as the aroma, rhubarb and redcurrant. Some oak and booze. Medium length finish. Decent, the barrel adds a welcomed dimension. 241130

330ml can bought at Vinmonopolet City Nord. Noisy, white head slowly diminishing over a hazy yellowish body, fragile lacing. Quite fresh on the nose with fruity hops, lemon up front. Hints of pineapple and lemon to the taste buds, juicy malts beneath. Drying close, ripe fruity. Soft ending, and quite easy to drink. Satisfying. (Bodø Panorama, 27.11.2024).

150ml, draught, sample tray at Røør. Patches at the surface of a pale reddish, hazy, body, scattered lacing. Hints of berry skins on the nose with a fruity scent. Mid-tart taste of berry-fruits. Smooth ending, semi-tart and semi-sweet. Just okay, but the Christmas feel is non-existent. (Oslo, 25.11.2024).

Can. A dark brown to black beer with a minimalistic tan head. Warming nose with sweet maltyness. Dark chocolate, nuts, roasted malts and a touch of coffee. It's full-bodied and warming, sweet, with a decent bitterness. Sweet flavor too, roasted malts, some dark chocolate and coffee, with a light spiced hint. Lasting sweet finish. Too sweet this one, perhaps a bit too warming too, but kinda interesting. 241123
