(Draught, taster, Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 3 Dec 2021) Dark brown colour, almost black, with brief beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of coffee, caramel and oak wood. Malty, roasted, slightly vinous taste with coffee, caramel, oak wood, black bread and a balanced roasty bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty, warming and quite well balanced. Very nice.

(Bottle, taster, Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 3 Dec 2021) Black colour with foamy, beige head. Roasted, spicy nose with ginger bread cakes, cinnamon, ginger and coffee. Malty, roasted taste with notes of cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, coffee, liquorice and a balanced coffee bitterness. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Lots of taste, but the gingerbread gets a bit overpowering after a while. Quite nice.

33 cl bottle @ Hirvihuhta, BBE 26.03.2026 Bottle 1491 Aroma has vanilla, berries and orange. Flavour has malt, licorice, berries. Finishes with ash and grapefruity hops. A bit unusual but good. Could be a double IPA with this hop level.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear amber with a lacing, off-white head. Very faint aroma, a hint of nuts perhaps. Medium body, toffee and nuts with a neatly balancing hop finish. Super clean and well made. 191121

Malty, hoppy taste with notes of caramel, apricots, orange peel, resin and a balanced citric, resiny bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Fairly malty for a WCIPA, but tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

Malty, roasty taste with coffee, dark chocolate, oak wood, tar, liquorice and a vinous finish with a generous roasty bitterness. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Powerful, but very harmonious and tasty. Very nice.

Malty, roasted taste with notes of fresh coffee, cacao, roasted malt, black rye bread and a generous coffee bitterness. More than medium body, dry. Tasty and well made stout with lots of fresh coffee. Very nice.
