Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Near black, small beige head. Aroma of licorice and plums. Surprisingly dry with full body and dense, rounded mouthfeel. Heavily roasted with licorice and coffee. Peppery finish with some salmiak and long bitterness.

Bottled 330ml (Alko web)
Dark ruby colour, medium-sized creamy beige head. Malty, dark chocolate, dark fruits in the nose. Medium-bodied. Sweetish, caramalty, very hoppy, lots of resiny hops. Nice, more like American strong ale than Barley Wine.

Bottle no. 3267. A dark brown beer, a head is quite small and beige. Aroma is interesting, toffee, dried fruits, liquorice. Taste has smooth maltyness, wood, caramel, liquorice. Almost full bodied. Very interesting, and kind of ... weird, but tasteful. Barley wine meets some IS nuancees.
