"The beer is dark golden in colour with a fast disappearing white head. The carbonation otherwise is also shortlived. It tastes very sweet but has a lager taste to it for a short period before the sweetness comes back. Not very good but atleast a whole lot better than the non-alcoholic beer from Iran." - beersoftheworldproject.wordpress.com

Bottle sample, courtesy of MarkoNm. Country #169. Cheers for sharing! Pours pale gold with the smallest of off-white around the edge. Aroma of malt, syrup, yeast and veg. Toward heavy sweetness, no bitterness. Thin body, watery texture, soft carbonation. Pleased to have finally got a rateable Saudi beer, but that’s the only positive of this experience.

Brought back from Saudi by a friend. Pours clear golden, no head to speak of. Smell sweet malty nose, grainy, cardboard-like and corn. Sweet taste, syrupy, malty. Watery body. Nothing else. Exactly what you’d expect from this one.

330ml bottle from Ozman’s Grocery Store, London Road, Sheffield - Unashamedly a rare country tick, but this has as much to do with beer as a can of Supermalt. Flat orange body, nose of Ovaltine. Taste of stale fizzy day old lager, with a strange fruity aftertaste. Just like pop really, only strange. Anyway, Saudi Arabia - TICK.
