Dorada pajiza, consistentemente, nebulosa, dos dedos de espuma de aspecto jabonoso. Aroma no muy marcado, ligeramente ácido. La acidez se intensifica en boca, dónde es claramente predominante, aunque sin llegar a molestar. Seca, bruta, de gas marcado. No se bebe fácil y desde luego se sale del patrón de las pilsen.

330ml. bottle. @Fontiñas, Compostela. 01/08/2022 [#5.272 Global - #1.100 Spain - #1 Cerveza Mica (My Spanish Brewery #253)] Pours pale yellow with a huge white head. Aroma: bread, spiced malts, rye. Taste: cereal, bread and yeast. Soft spiced and overcarbonated. Next one please!

Brown/orange, hazy with a short lived off white head. A wooden barrels, fruitish and malt aroma. Light bitter, slightly sour with a not the best wooden barrels, earth and alc. End.

Pours black, minor reddish glow. Medium sized, fairly white foam. Scent is roasty, mild cedar-like spicyness/ woody side. PX is a bit lost tbh. Fairly low intensity. Taste is fairly sweet, very cedar-like - which I absolutely enjoy, but it's pretty far off from the expectations. mild PX noticable (hints of raisins) . Medium body for the style. I tend to like it, but not at all for the reasons I thought I would. How does this taste like cedar ?

pous a bit cloudy amber. Medium small white head. Scent is mild caramel, exhausting esters (much like the 'pilsner' was surprisingly estery (for a lager ! ) this is also a tad chewy. Oloroso is very, veyr mild, but not absent. Mild wet oak as well. Overall, just to expressive on the yeast - which kinda ruins the idea (otherwise great, again a pairing made with knowledge) of Oloroso expression, as well as the beer styletechnically. Taste is bit bitter. Exhaustingly estery. Medium body, raw sugars. Oloroso very hidden . Very mild oak. Bit salty almost. very high CO2. Hard to really drink, kinda hard to enjoy, especially after my high expectations. Needs far, far more barrel profile for it's concept, as well as a better basebeer.

Pours clear pale blonde, but the bottle does have sediment, making the totality of the pour unclear, warmer goldenblonde. Small white head. Scent is mild, tad harsh grains, possibly a bit DMS as well ? barrels not very expressive. Taste is quite bitter, but rather stale. not very lager like to me, more like a blonde ale - which is confusing for a pilsner, seems very out of style. Love the pairing of the specific barrels with the specific beerstyles, as both fino and pilsner are more elegant - but the pilsner produced seems to be unsufficiently refined, balanced, or in style to really work. Shame, as I do quite like the Osborne Fino. Bit to carbonated. Wood and Fino unrecognizable, to my sadness.
