Description
Wold Top Brewery was founded in 2003 by arable farmers Tom and Gill Mellor. Based high on the Yorkshire Wolds where the hills roll down to the North Sea, ours is a family business that is run by the third and fourth generation Mellors and we pride ourselves on brewing superior quality beer from home grown barley and water that is gently filtered by the chalk of the Yorkshire Wolds and drawn from the farm's own borehole.

500ml bottle from Wold Top. Gluten Free. Black colour, beige foamy head and aroma of dark malt, smokey, chocolate & coffee, alittle spice. Taste is roasted malt, ashy, with dark fruits, chocolate, coffee and earthy spicy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, roast bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

330ml bottle from Wold Top. Gluten Free. Clear amber colour, bubbly white foam head and aroma of malt, citrus. Taste is malt, earthy, tangy, with some citrus and metallic bitterness. Watery, light bodied, soft carbonation, drying tangy citric bitter finish. OK

500ml bottle from Wold Top. Gluten Free. Clear yellow gold colour, bubbly white foam head and aroma of fruity, floral, hop. Taste is pale malt, fruity, citrus grapefuit, gooseberry, with floral hop bitterness. Meidum bodied, soft carbonation, drying bitter finish. Quite drinkable.
