Sample (thanks omhper!). Golden colour, small white foamy head. Aroma is floral, fruity, some mild toffee with sweet biscuity and bready tones too. Flavour is sweet malts, some toffee, mild floral and fruity tones with some herbs too.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear golden with a dense, white head. Spicy, interesting nose - not of cellery at all, more pineapple and mango. Light body, lactic tart with a pinch of salinity. Again a lovely tropical, fruity touch with a tart finish. I don't like cellery, but this is not bad at all. 070323

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear golden with an off-hite head. Super chemical aroma which probably is the saffron. Medium body, extremely fizzy, getting thin and watery pretty quickly with hardly any tartness and just the watered out - thankfully - saffron notes that remain chemical and deeply unpleasant. Bland finish. The Swedes have this traditional Xmas cake called 'Lussekatte' made with saffron which they are very proud of. And seemingly they find it grand idea to turn it into a beer. This is a horrible, disgusting idea. 200223

Bottle 33 cl. ours a hazy golden with an off-white head. Malty nose with flowery hops and a faint whiff of smoke. Medium body, crisp, dry hops and flowery hops - again with a faint smoke whiff. Very bitter finish. Not sure this is smoky enough to enter the Smoked category. But these guys sure know their hoppy lagers, and they make them very well. 200223
