Bottled, from Systembolaget. Black with small beige head. Lemony licorice aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Syrup and tar, lemon and licorice. Dominated by acrid black malt tartness. Some piney bitterness.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 6 Oct 2018) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, orange peel, tropical fruit and a touch of caramel. Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus, tropical fruit, grapefruit, some caramel and a balanced citric/tropical bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and refreshing. Quite nice.

Gulbrun lett tåkete med høyt eggegult skum som ligger lenge. Lukter sydhavsfrukt, barnål og blomster. Middels- i fylde. Fruktig og bitter smak., Ananas, aprikos og sitrusskall. Ren. Middels lang.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 5 Oct 2018) Hazy amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of caramel, resin, citrus and black-currant. Malty, hoppy taste with caramel, citrus, resin, a touch of burnt rubber and a balanced citric/spicy bitterness. More than medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well made IPA with a generous hop presence. Nice one.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 5 Oct 2018) Black colour with big, creamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of chocolate, black rye bread and a touch of smoke. Malty, roasted taste with chocolate, coffee, a touch of liquorice, vanilla, mild smoke flavours and a balanced roasty bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, quite dry. Tasty and well made, with a gentle smoke touch. Nice one.
