Glasshouse Beer Co
Microbrewery
in Birmingham,
West Midlands,
England 🏴
Associated Venue: Glasshouse Brewery Tap
Established in 2018
Graduating from Josh’s mum’s greenhouse in 2018 (where the brewery gets its name), GlassHouse had a rocky period over the pandemic but managed to push through by producing a great range of cans.
GlassHouse beer isn’t fined or filtered, and while it has been known to produce a milk stout or two, its beers are typically vegan. While they’re available nationally, the team’s glare is firmly fixed on improving and supporting the Birmingham beer scene.

440ml can from the brewery. Poured almost black in colour with a short-lived, fizzy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, molasses, dark chocolate. The flavour is moderate sour. Infected and undrinkable. Went straight down the drain.

440ml can from the brewery. Gushed a clear medium purple colour with a big fizzy pink head. The aroma is huge blackcurrant. The flavour is moderate sour, with a fresh, light, crisp, light herbal, tart blackcurrant palate. Medium to light bodied with lively carbonation. Plenty of fruit which was a surprise given the lack of body.
