Glasshouse Beer Co
Microbrewery
in Birmingham,
West Midlands,
England 🏴
Associated Venue: Glasshouse Brewery Tap
Established in 2018
Graduating from Josh’s mum’s greenhouse in 2018 (where the brewery gets its name), GlassHouse had a rocky period over the pandemic but managed to push through by producing a great range of cans.
GlassHouse beer isn’t fined or filtered, and while it has been known to produce a milk stout or two, its beers are typically vegan. While they’re available nationally, the team’s glare is firmly fixed on improving and supporting the Birmingham beer scene.

440ml can. Very hazy golden, white head. Aroma of grapefruit and floral/herbal hops. Taste is sweet, grapefruit, mild coconut, herbal, lemongrass like notes. Medium bodied, soft. If this had some bitterness and wasn't so sweet it would be a cracking IPL. Still, very decent.

Keg @ Kings Yard. Hazed golden orange appearance, nicely positioned head of white froth. Nice fruity nose, with melon, orange and citrus coming forth. Taste builds on this with a smooth palate and a fresh, gently sweet hop character, plenty of citric hop fruit. Quite flavoursome for the strength. Very good.
