Description
Created in Birmingham in 2016 by cousins Josh and Calum, GlassHouse Beer Co. has grown in leaps and bounds on the back of its innovative vegan beers.

Graduating from Josh’s mum’s greenhouse in 2018 (where the brewery gets its name), GlassHouse had a rocky period over the pandemic but managed to push through by producing a great range of cans.

GlassHouse beer isn’t fined or filtered, and while it has been known to produce a milk stout or two, its beers are typically vegan. While they’re available nationally, the team’s glare is firmly fixed on improving and supporting the Birmingham beer scene.

Keg at Mother Kelly's Bethnal Green - London. Pours hazy gold with a small, foamy white head. Grainy, flabby, some pine and ripening citrus. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, more grainy pale bread, no structure or brightness. Not the best.

Keg at Mother Kelly's - Bethnal Green. Pours cloudy red with a frothy, white head. Quite nice, quite fruity, lots of fresh and fleshy raspberry, very mild seedy bitterness. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. More juicy raspberry on the finish. Lots of fun.

Keg at Mother Kelly's Bethnal Green - London. Pours hazy gold with a tight, creamy white head. Pretty well rounded, nicely dry, lots of pithy lemon and grapefruit, a few pine needles. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Dry and pithy on the finish, grapefruit, some flinty minerality, rindy bitterness. Sound.
