Description
Founded in 2017 Three Hills Brewing is experimental at it’s core. We produce small batches, in a variety of styles, pushing boundaries to create the most interesting drinks we can for our customers to enjoy.
Our HQ is based in the countryside of Northamptonshire where we have 600l system, counter pressure canning machine, laboratory, barrel ageing program & cold store.
In 2020, we expanded into The Outpost, a new brewery with taproom on the Bermondsey beer mile.
Three Hills entered liquidation in May 2025.

330ml can. Pours black with a brown head. Aroma of chocolate, caramel, nuts. Taste is very sweet, tons of chocolate, caramel, peanut, roasty bitterness, a little alcohol. Very full, thick body, smooth. Outstanding. Must point out this can was received for free - one of the initial batch that was recalled due to overcarbonation. No problems in this can whatsoever, honestly in awe that such a good stout was recalled!

(Draught at Craft Beer Co, Covent Garden, London, 9 May 2024) Black colour with brief, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with chocolate, caramel, toffee, coffee and vanilla. Malty, roasted taste with notes of caramel, toffee, coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, a touch of salt and a balanced roasty bitterness in a warming and slightly sweetish finish. Full body, quite sweet. Rich, thick and warming. Far better balance than expected. Very nice.

Clear, deep gold with a thick white head. Lovely aroma with caramel, a bit of the booze and something floral. Flavour has that funky saison quality up front, very farmhouse as advertised, but the sweetness of the rum takes the edge off that a touch, with a little of the caramel too. Add in a dash of tart citrus, wood from the barrel and a lingering spiced warmth and you've got an interesting, nicely balanced saison.
