05-08-20 // at a market stall in Gdansk. Small pour from a bottle. Recreated from old recipes, the local Jopenbier. Nose light balsamic and dakt swert malts. Thick oily mouthfeel. Chococoffee sweet malt body, sour cherries, figs, light roast and some herbal notes. Interesting! Heavy stuff.

Glass at the brewery, golden beer, small head, aroma is sour, damp barn, fruit, lactic acid. Taste is very mellow, light tart, light lactic acid, fruity, honestly surprisingly good and easy to drink.

Glass at the brewery, dark amber beer, small head. Aroma is wheat, caramel, tart, some fruit. Taste is the same, quite some wheat tartness and red fruit in the end. Quite a dry aftertaste. Not bad

ABV: 5.5%. Clear medium orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, pale malt, fruity malt, light caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, fruity malt, sweet malt, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20190424]
