Purchased in 2001 by Royal Unibrew, merged with Kalnapilis into Kalnapilio – Tauro grupė. Brewery until 2005, when production moved to Kalnapilis.

Bottled 500ml. -at some bar in Vilnius. Pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, mild grainy nose. Sweetish malty, grainy and some corn with discreet hoppy notes in the finish. Touch of alcohol also but nothing significant. Ordinary Lithuanian lager.

50cl can from Maxima, Vilnius. Pours clear pale golden with a white head. Mild grainy aroma with hints of herbs, honey and alcohol. Medium sweet, not much flavour, but finishes slightly bitter. Drinkable, but slightly unpleasant.

Biggish white head. Clear yellow body. Light mineraly mealy herbal aroma. Dry-sweet mealy faint rubbery taste with oily grassy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dry rubbery mineraly fruity aftertaste with grassy herbal notes. Nice, drinkable, some character. Not at all bad. (0.5l can, from Maxima, Vilnius.)

Medium white head. Clear yellow body. Mealy herbal aroma with grainy notes. Dry-sweet mealy oily herbal taste with earthy notes. Not much going on. Mid-bodied. Faintly abrasive, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish mealy herbal aftertaste with fruity notes. Decent, drinkable, no obvious flaws. (0.5l can from Maxxima, Vilnius.)

Pours a clear yellow appearance with a big off white head. Metallic, dusty grainy, chalky, lemon aroma. Thin body. Very bitter. Metallic, grassy, grainy flavor. Pew.

From a 500ml bottle. Stable tan-coloured head to an unclear red-brown body. Aroma of sweet bread. Taste of prunes and sweet malts. Honey sweet ending. Ok version of a kvas (kindly shared by djoeye, Tromsø 27.02.2014).

Thanks to djoeye for sharing a 500ml can of this one. Pours a pale golden body. Fair amount of lacing from a creamy, white head. Moderate smell of sweet pale malts. Similar taste, honey sweet. Metallic alcohol on the swallow. Little to offer, rather dull and empty (Tromsø 17.01.2014).

500ml can, kindly shared by djoeye. Slowly diminishing white head leaving lacing rings down the glass. Clear straw coloured body. Modest smell of grass and pale malts. Mid-sweet fruity taste mingled with grainy malts. Brief notes of fruity hops to the ending. Crispy in the mouth. Standard and drinkable (Tromsø 17.01.2014).

500ml can carried back home from Marijampole and shared by djoeye on a Friday beer session. Declining, chalk white head to a yellow-gold body, next to clear. Firm lacing. Mild aroma of grain and mid-dry fruits. Apple, mid-sweet and mid-dry, flavour on a grainy backbone. Moderate malt-fruity ending. Soft carbonated. Clean in the mouth. On par with the style (Tromsø 17.01.2013).
