Description
We use the finest quality ingredients, superior brewery methods and state-of-the-art equipment to produce our ales. Our ethos is to offer the finest ales, produced with passion and to the highest standards. We produce 6 core real ales, alongside unique and varied monthly seasonals, and a range of craft keg beers.

Reported closed in 2024, with some beers being brewed at Magpie.

Tried at the Duke William, Lincoln. Golden colour with a white head. The aroma is malt and grain with a touch of floral hop. Taste light sweet. Not a great golden really.

Cask at Rail Ale ’16, 20/05/16. Clear amber with a decent light beige head - a good looking beer bit not very mild like! Nose is light fruit esters, brown bread, straw. Taste comprises airy malts, caramel, light fruit dusting, biscuit. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close. Ok inoffensive mild.

Keg at Rail Ale ’16, as NavBrew AS, 20/05/16. Clear golden blonde with a decent off White cap. Nose is citric sherbets, tangerine, lemon rind, light toasted malt. Taste comprises tangerine, light bread, floral notes, citric tinged straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light bitterness. Weak for the style .... lacks hops.

Keg at Chesterfield Rail Ale Jolly with RB crew; clear golden yellow pour with a thin off white head, aroma had a hint of butterscotch, taste has citrus, grapefruit, biscuity malts.

Cask at Rail Ale Festival Chesterfield; clear dark amber pour with a creamy tan head, aroma has red fruits and tasted of red fruits along with some light roast.

Cask (handpump) @ Swan and Rushes, 19 Infirmary Square, Leicester, Leicestershire, England LE1 5JN. [ As Navigation Tight Head ].Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, sour malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, sour apple, bread, caramel, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20160221]

Cask (gravity) @ Nottingham Robin Hood Beer Festival (2014), Nottingham Castle, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EL. [ As Navigation Viceroy IPA ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity, sweet malt, light to moderate hoppy, citrus, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, citrus. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141011]
