Bottle. A hazy, yellowish golden beer with a small, off-white head. A good sniff indicates an infection, as sourish, chalky aromas escape the glass. Some milky and lemony notes too. The flavor is slightly sourish, with a nice bitterness, citrus and pale malts. Thin body. Overall, it’s not very good, even thouth it was drunk six months before BB-date. 090704

Draught@brewpub. Slightly hazy yellow colour, big creamy white head. Aroma is yeast, malts, hops and some mild bready notes. Flavour is yeast, malts, hops and some rather bready notes. A bit too much to the bready side to be really enjoyable.

(Bottled) Thanks Timo A. Dark brown color, small beige head. Slightly caramelly, a bit sour and grainy, maybe smokey too. Light caramel. Floury, a bit sour yeasty flavor. Light hoppyness. Schwarzbier? Tastes like a brown ale.

Bottle. A hazy orange body with some yeast, topped by a medium size diminishing beige head. Citrusy, piney start on the aroma, then peach, cellar and a dusty, milksourish aroma shines through. Fruity start on the flavor, with a citrusy sourness and peach. Some bitterness and a distinct milky sourness too. Thin body. Bitter, sourish finish with pine and peach. Sure gone wrong, but somehow drinkable. Ølgod is certainly not a suitable name for this beer. (080815)
