Description
The Fuzzy Duck Brewery is an eight barrel (1300 litre) plant located in Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire. The brewery started as a half barrel plant located at the home of the Head Brewer (Ben Croston) in Preesall in January 2006. Demand immediately outstripped supply and after a lengthy search, new premises were found in Poulton-le-Fylde. On 17th October 2006 the first brew, 'Pheasant Plucker' was completed on the new 8 barrel plant.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Clear gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry with decent fine carbonation. Light sweetish pale malts, some honey. Tangy dried fruits. Mildly bitter floralness. Touches of marmalade and lemon. Dry finish.

From cask. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity hoppy. Bitter, smooth fruity. Bitter and dry, toasted malty finish.

Cask at the Larbert beer festival. Pours clear golden, nose is salty burnt toffee, taste is dry, sweet, toffee, floral.

Cask at the Larbert Beer Festival 2015. Pours clear pale gold with a thin white head. Aromas of light lemon, floral, soapy. Taste is light sweet, more lemon bitterness. Biscuit sweet finish.

5.1 Cask at the borough, Lancaster. Pours clear brown with a thin beige head. Sitting aromas of black cherry Ski yoghurt. Taste is black cherries all the way. Medium body, creamy texture. Light sweet finish. A highlight of the day.
