Bottle from Neked Csak Dezső, Budapest. Poured a slightly hazy light golden colour with a big fizzy, short-lived white head. The aroma is grainy dry biscuit malt, dry tropical fruit, gluey, light toffee. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter with a crisp, dough malt, fruity, dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. The bubbles lasted forever.

Bottled.Thanks Sandi! Black body with a tiny tan head. Medicinal alcohol, just pure ethanol mixing with jammy fruity notes in the aroma, a bit oily... err... what? Creamy taste, dryish in the finish, with no bitterness. Alcohol all over the place, though more in taste than in feeling initially, the warming feeling does creep up. The malty notes, perfumey, in combination with the alcohol make it seem at times like those cheap pralines filled with cheaper still liquor one can get at discount stores. And that's at its most interesting. After Smog Rocket, this felt like a botched homebrew, and I'd hoped for more and I know they can do better. Hope to rerate it at some point. It should not have been like this.

Tap at Neked Csak Dezső, Budapest. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy off white head. The aroma is roasty malt, charcoal, liqouirce, dry coffee. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter with a dry malt, liquorice, coffee, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle 330ml. @ HBF 2017 [ Helsinki Beer Festival 2017 ], Kaapelitehdas, Talberginkatu 1, Helsinki, Finland. [ As Synthesis Zodiak IPA ].Light unclear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, caramel, nutty, sweet malt, moderate hoppy, grass, citrus, orange, dusty hops. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, pale malt, caramel, nutty, dusty hops. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Bottle sample at a tasting at Max's place. Thanks rayaron. Murky amber. Malt, caramel, lots of peat, some alcohol, sweet, yeast, faint vanilla note, a bit of fruitiness, medium-bodied. A bit messy.

Tap@Élesztő, Budapest. Pours opaque black with small light brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, soy sauce, gravy, chocolate, sweet licorice and Vegemite. Taste is light to medium sweet, medium to very bitter, light salty and faint acidic. Body is dry and light oily with light fizzy carbonation. Finish is long, dry and bitter with notes of coffee, dark chocolate, gravy, rye bread and roasted peanuts. Very rich.

Közepes, nagyon tartós hab, barna szín. Nagyon intenzív, citrusos, grapefruitos, déligyümölcsös illatvilág, markáns citrushéjas, gyantás vonásokkal. Grapefruitos, narancsos, déligyümölcsös ízek, határozott fenyős aromával. Könnyed, közepesen szénsavas, erősen keserű. Izgalmas ízvilágú, jól összerakott sör.
