Draught, thanks to KnutAlbert for sharing at BRLO Brwhouse. Spotty lacing from a white tophead. Misty golden body. Grain and hints of ripe fruits to the nose. Flavoured with mid-sweet fruits and bread-like malts. Distant bittersweet tail. Quite alright. (Berlin 11.01.2018).

On tap at Herman Belgian Bar. Cloudy orange-gold body, low white head, spotty lacing. Mid-sweet orange nose. Taste of ripe fruits and oily hops. Mid-sweet fruity endnotes. Medium bodied. Satisfying. (Berlin 11.01.2018).

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Motel Shady Pines ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, pine, soap. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, citrus, pine, soapy, fruity hops, pale malt. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, pale malt, fruity malt, moderate hoppy, fruity hops, sweet tropical fruit, light yeasty, fruity yeast, light sour fruit - lacto. Flavor is moderate sweet, light acidic and light bitter with a average duration, tropicla fruit, wheat, pale malt, fruity yeast, lacto - vinegar - citric. "Motel Shady Pines", Brewbox Berlin, "gebraut bei Hopper Bräu"; Flasche (33 cl) von Hopfen & Malz, Berlin-Wedding. - Tief goldgelb, klar; enorm üppiger, an Eischnee erinnernder zäher Schaum. - In der Nase Mango, Pampelmuse und Kiefernwald. - Antrunk kräftig harzig und hopfenwürzig herb mit Kiefer und bitterer Orangenschale. Mild rezent, weich. Im Abgang kernig bitter, etwas hart, mit holziger Note. - Kräftig hopfenbitteres, etwas einseitiges IPA, bei dem die fruchtigen Noten zu kurz kommen.

(Draught at Muted Horn, Berlin, 25 Aug 2017) Hazy amber colour with creamy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with citrus, orange peel, coffee and grainy malt. Malty, fruity taste with notes of citrus, orange peel, tropical fruit, crisp-bread, freshly brewed coffee and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Interesting and tasty, with a fresh coffee character. Quite nice.
