Initial flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet, finish flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, roasted, burnt, roasted bitter - malt bitter. Gravity cask at the 2018 Nottingham Beer Festival, Motorpoint Arena. Dark brown, almost black with a ring of beige head. Lots of liquorice, bramble and black malt on the nose, and the taste doesn't disappoint: bittersweet with a malty flavour in the finish. Medium oily body. Very good.

18/10/2018. Cask at the Robin Hood Beer & Cider Festival 2018, Nottingham. Pours almost black with a bubbly beige head. Aroma of chocolate, liquorice, caramel, fruit and hops. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium body, smooth texture, soft carbonation. Nice beer.
