Founded in 2016 by James Ward, Lough Gill Brewing Company aims to restore the lost tradition of brewing to Sligo town, a small town that once hosted 5 breweries. The idea stemmed from an ever-growing passion for brewing delicious beer and a unique opportunity of various skill sets and business synergy.

Lattina. Territorio olfattivo dominato dal fruttato. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma ha una schiuma importante, ma a rapida dispersione. La parte liquida offre una visione offuscata. Il colore è ambrato rossiccio carico tendente marrone. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è deciso. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Al gusto vengono donati toni di miele, nocciola, frutta secca, pane cotto di recente e agrumi.

Light gold with a medium head. Aroma of soft fruit hop. Flavour is thin lemon, soft hop, lingering citrus bitter finish.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is nutty indeed with chocolate, coconut, dark malt, vanilla, almond. Fairly sweet with a moderate bitterness. Above medium body, drinks below its 10% abv.

Can 33 cl. Pours an opaque black with a beige head. Delicious aroma of sweet roast paired with delicious and warming whiskey. Rich body of chocolatey roast some vanilla and delicious whiskey. Warming finish. Very well made.020225

Can from Mr. Hop. Aroma is fruity hop with citrus, orange, soft pale malt, touch of pine, tropical fruits including some grapefruit and mango. Flavour is a bit sweetish and moderate to medium bitter. Body is medium. Good IPA, somewhat juicy with a mild bittersweet flavour.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is strong whiskey with oak, roasted malt, liquorice, some dark chocolate, soy sauce, alcohol. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet, light bitter, bit boozy finish. Medium to full body. Boozy with lots of whiskey, bit warming, heavy.
