Description
Founded in 2016 by James Ward, Lough Gill Brewing Company aims to restore the lost tradition of brewing to Sligo town, a small town that once hosted 5 breweries. Owl Farm: pours a light amber with a relatively loose white head. Aroma is burnt toffee, bready sort of... hard to really say what is going on... but it is definitely not what you would expect from a reddish sour ale... I don't know; maybe it was the heather. Taste is a lightly sour, but in a spoiled way, vegetal and herbal sort of thing. Not a fan.

Tap at gingerman. Brown pour rather still looking. Nose is nutty and cocoa. Tastes of cocoa, earth, some nuts but not particular to macadamia not sure I would’ve guessed, roasted malt. Thin bodied. Fine enough.
