Dark amber, very hazy, frothy off white head
Aroma of sweet fruity malts, soft orange, touch of toffee, sweet caramel, soft nose
Taste of caramel malts, soft toffee malts, sweet caramelized oranges, nice malts, soft bitter hops, malts are prominent
Palate - Soft carb, medium body, fairly rich texture, sweet malty background. Finish as main flavour, bit more bitter hops in the tail
Overall - Too malty for an IPA - but I did like the sweet caramel orange malts in this. Quite decent.

Brown, very murky, thin beige head, doesn’t look great, not a pale ale - same colour as a brown ale or ESB
Aroma of soft sweet caramel malts, hint of fruity malts, light nose
Taste of caramel malts, some roasted malt, quite bitter soft earthy hops, toffee malts, malty beer, good flavoured malts in this
Palate - Medium carb and body, fairly rich texture, quite sweet malts. Finish as main flavour, brown malts, bitter toasted malts
Overall - Tasty beer, despite off-putting appearance. Good malts in this, not like anything else on the Irish craft beer market. Should be relabelled as an ESB, calling this a Pale Ale is ridiculous. I’m usually not too bothered about appearance but this was way too murky - improving the appearance and a relabelling is all that’s needed, no need to up the hops - there’s too few malty beers available in Ireland

Taste of caramel malts, toffee, certainly a malty beer, getting the roasted nuts, very soft hops, soft fruits, slight hint of red berries, dab of chocolate, taste bit less complex that Thieving Bastards, nice malts
Palate - Soft carb, medium body, sweet malts. Finish of caramel, more malty in the finish
Overall - Decent malty beer - nutty flavour is well integrated, an individual beer amongst the other Irish craft beers

Draught at 57. Cloudy amber with a full head. Aroma of hop and nut. Flavour is pale malt, a little metallic, dried caramel, tart dry finish
