Bottle @ home. Slightly hazy orange color, medium to full sized off-white head that leaves fair lacing. Aroma is a bit soapy and glue imo. Taste malts, caramalts, moderately bitter, quite yeasty. A slight sour touch in the finish that shouldn’t be there at all. Can’t imagine that is intended. According to the label the beer is bottled in January 2014 so while it is 3 months old (label also says it’s best before Jan 2016) it should still be in at least reasonable condition but it’s not. [Initial rating: 5-3-4-2-7=2.1] -- Rerate October 3rd 2018 from draught @ De Stadsbrouwerij Eindhoven. Clear yellow golden color, medium sized white head. Smell and taste malts, hops, decently bitter. No obvious flaws this time. Decent beer. New rating: 7-3-7-3-13.

Bottled (thanks fonefan!). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is alcohol, caramel, floral notes and some sweet toffeeish notes. Flavour is fruits, toffeeish and some mild nectar and floral notes. A bit yeastiness as well, but still not that exciting for a tripel.

Fles 33cl thuis als Heeren van Eynthoven gebrouwen door Eijkenrode Bier bij Jopen. Moutig, zoetig, kruidig. Redelijk krachtig. (12-2013).

Bottle shared with Joes, Ansjelaah, judyvv and Dutchdrebus. Murky pale yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste wheat, slightly sweet and lightly herbs or spices. Average body and carbonation.

Bottle @ joes thx to benzai. Hazy white to yellow colour with a small white head. Smells herbs, sweet, meh. Tastes sweet, malts, coriander, banana. Thin body, soft carbo.

Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a slightly hazy light straw colour with a thin white head. The aroma is caramel and yeast. The caramel really surprised me and I had to check again! The flavour is medium to strong bitter with lots of yeast and liqourice on the palate with a little smooth toffee caramel in the finish. Considering the ABV, the alcohol was well controlled and didn’t dominate. One of the nicest Tripels i’ve had.

Bottle 330ml.Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, moderate hoppy, fruity, candy, sweet fruity yeast. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, yeast, sweet fruity, for me it is a bit artificial of something ! Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130406]

Pours mostly clear orange golden with an off white head. Aroma of yeast, bread, caramel, malt and fruit. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Mesi bodied with soft carbonation.
