Draught at the source: pours clear gold with white head. Aroma is lightly floral and grassy. Taste is dry and bitter. Hard to see what kveik is doing here. Perfectly respectable though.

Draught at source: pours golden with a white head. Aroma is lime, banana, pepper. Taste is similar to the Jawn, with hints of lime and chili. Not spicy enough to make it undrinkable. Pleasant enough.

Draught at source: pours hazy with white head. Aroma is tropical fruity. Taste is bitter onion and hop burn. Do not like. Apparently the top of the beer was better than the bottom. this sort of seemed to be the theme of the IPAs, that the bottom was apicy and burnt.

16 ounce can. Opaque black, brown pour. Brief beige head. Roasted malt nose hints at peanuts and cocoa. Flavor is roasted malt, milk chocolate and peanut butter, as advertised. Bittersweet chocolate notes throughout. Boozy finish.

On tap at Brygg. It pours an unclear orange-golden color, with a dense, finger-thick off-white head. Nice curtains. The aroma has a rather strange fruityness that I couldn't really pinpoint, with a light maltyness in the back. Some bread and caramel hints. It's full to medium bodied, velvety, with a light bitterness matching what sweetness is present. A bit yeasty flavor I think, with the same strange fruityness. Bready malts in the back. Well, it's a quite nice one in many ways, but also a bit weird and not what I expect from a pale bock. And frankly, a bit dull. 190607
